all grown up – well, almost
the falls, the cuts, the scars to show
the stifled sobs
the road relentless,scarce a pause
to what purpose, to what end, did i ever know?
all ready to set free – well, almost
the good, the better, the warmth to show
the bad,the ugly
the wounds hacked repeatedly
what would stay, what would leave, did i ever know?
all ready to leave – well, almost
the person, the spirit, the memories to show
the anti-, the con
the push and shove to move on
my choice not to keep, only let go, did i ever know?
change beckons? never again, or ever now?
time calls? hasten forward or hark until?
life wonders? an old beginning or a new end?
the previous I know now, but these i donot still…

hey Kriti ! I came across your blog when i googled the word "pleomorphism".
honestly, i am not much of a poetry fan, but i like your (for the lack of a better term) non-poetic writings. you have a very simple style of writing, but you also have a gift with words.
Thanks for the interesting posts !
